Fires of the Flares

Aurora surges (phase III) in two colors in the AM of Aug. 1, 2002 to my northeast.  Stars of Andromeda are spread across the top of the picture, with Aries rising below.  No doubt, it was caused by some kind of solar flare / CME.   Appropriate for my 1,000th deviation?  I had not yet attained my 2,000th recording of them here.
