Description

Cumulonimbus clouds gather into making a storm during the evening of July 20, 2005.  Picture was taken near sunset and barely 3 weeks before Mom died.  Now, you see what we did.

An extraordinary photograph of the storm clouds. Though are a photographer, of the sky and the Earth's interactions, I wonder if you have ever seen the clouds in paintings by Eric Sloane? While well known more for barns and covered bridges of New England, he has written quite a few books of early Americana and one about clouds.
