Impostor

A somewhat sadistic mode of mermaid training -- an underwater tail tie.  REAL mermaids can hold a breath of air as long as necessary to later lure the male (or female?) human into the water; they don't have to every worry about drowning.  So obviously, an impostor is being discovered here.  How long do you think she can prevail?
