Description

Phase II aurora (arcs) hover above a moonlit farmyard in the early morning (2:30am) of Sept. 8, 1995. I had recorded the aurora for well over 1,000 nights by then. The brightest three stars in the image near the middle are of the Big Dipper's handle.
