Surface Bound

An underwater suspension of damsels.  Upon touching the bottom of a deep water pool (finally colorized by me after 12 yrs), a relaxing unsuspecting gal is about to get a rude surprise from a stalking female diver from behind.  Other victims, surface bound & helpless like puppets, try in vain to warn her, compromised by weightless suspension, encasement in a stretchy rubbery substance, and muffled by the water.  Is there any possible escape?  At least, they can only bob about and sway a little in their life-preserving confinements.
